Use Leviate only for real work and real people.
Leviate Limited operates a platform that connects creators and contributors for paid marketing work. This Acceptable Use Policy applies to all users of the Leviate platform, including creators, contributors, and any person or organisation accessing or using the service.
By using Leviate, you agree to follow the rules below. You must not submit false proof, manipulate engagement, circumvent platform controls, interfere with the service, or use Leviate for unlawful activity.
1. Platform integrity
Users must not:
- Use bots, scripts, automation, fake accounts, or purchased activity to complete a brief or generate engagement.
- Submit fabricated screenshots, manipulated links, altered records, invented results, or any other false proof.
- Attempt to manipulate verification, payouts, campaign outcomes, or platform controls.
- Interfere with the security, integrity, or performance of the platform or of other users’ access to it.
2. Prohibited briefs, content, and activity
Users must not create, accept, carry out, or promote a brief that:
- Breaks Nigerian law or any other law that applies to the user or the activity.
- Facilitates money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, trafficking in persons, exploitation of children or adults, kidnapping, extortion, or any other crime.
- Incites violence, threatens harm, promotes hatred or unlawful discrimination, or targets a person with harassment or abuse.
- Involves impersonation, identity theft, forgery, deceptive claims, unauthorised transactions, or chargeback abuse.
- Infringes another person’s privacy, intellectual property, or other legal rights.
3. Identity and account rules
Contributors must verify their identity before they can earn. Each contributor may operate only one verified account and must not share it with another person. No user may impersonate another person or misrepresent their identity, ownership, credentials, or affiliation with an account or organisation.
4. Proof and verification
Leviate checks every submission against the brief. If work does not meet the brief, Leviate gives the contributor an opportunity to correct and resubmit it. If the contributor does not correct the work, or the resubmitted work still fails verification, Leviate rejects it. The contributor is not paid for rejected work, and the full amount assigned to that work is refunded to the creator. Creators do not review or approve submissions.
5. Enforcement
Leviate may suspend or restrict an account when it reasonably believes the user has breached this policy. Leviate may pause the payout connected to a submission while it investigates that submission. If Leviate rejects the submission, the contributor is not paid for it and the full amount assigned to it is refunded to the creator. Leviate will not withhold unrelated earned payments or any refund owed to a creator. Leviate may report unlawful activity when required by law and cooperate with valid legal requests from authorised public bodies.
False proof: If Leviate finds that a contributor fabricated proof, Leviate suspends the account and freezes the payout connected to that submission. The full amount assigned to the rejected work is refunded to the creator.
6. Reporting
If you believe a user has breached this policy, or if you need to report fraud, abuse, or false proof, contact us at complaints@leviateapp.com.
7. Governing law and disputes
This policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to this policy, the platform, or its use shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria, and each party agrees to submit to that jurisdiction.
8. Changes
Leviate may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated before they take effect and will apply from the effective date stated in the updated policy.
